MyHOME is now available for public use in the form of a Beta release. During this period, before a we do a full launch, we are asking for people to give us feedback by e-mailing [email protected]. We really hope that you find MyHOME an easy and useful experience, but we will be interested to hear about anything you think is missing, or could be made better, or any issues at all that you’ve had with using MyHOME! Welcome to MyHome, a housing advice app for citizens of Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland.
It has been created for you by a Partnership of Council’s made up of Blaby, Charnwood, Harborough, Hinckley & Bosworth, Leicester, Melton, NW Leicestershire, Oadby & Wigston, and Rutland.
You will be asked some questions about your situation, and then you will be given some log-on details. Simply answer the questions, log on, and you will be given your tailored housing advice.
You can then go through the advice and choose which actions you would like to take. All of the actions are designed to help you to decide what to do next so that you can keep your current home or find new accommodation before you become homeless – that might be to take some action yourself, or get some help and advice from elsewhere.
If your situation is an emergency, or you are already homeless, MyHOME is probably not the best route – you should contact your local Council for advice.
Please note that the advice you get will be based on the answers you give to the questions you are asked. If you do not answer accurately you could be given incorrect advice.
The information you enter into this App will be stored and processed by Leicester City Council, and the Council you are locally connected with, so we can provide this service for you, and so we can learn more about the people using the service so we can make it better.
